ICBC Claims

  • If you have been injured in an accident involving a vehicle registered and insured in BC you will be entitled to physiotherapy treatment paid by ICBC. A doctor’s referral is not required.
  • Call ICBC to register your claim then call our office to book your appointment and advise us of your claim number, date of injury and ICBC contact.
  • If the accident caused soft tissue injuries it is important to start physiotherapy as soon as possible to get the right treatment and advice.
  • Our goal is to return you to your pre-accident abilities as quickly as possible.
  • We keep detailed clinical notes of your concerns and disabilities to support your claim
  • Patients with complex injuries and high physical demands of work or sport may utilise the BodyFit rehab exercise program to restore ability and reach goals

WorksafeBC Claims

  • Physioplus has invested in the facilities, training, systems and insurances to become an accredited physiotherapy provider to WorkSafe BC
  • With an accepted WCB claim there is no cost to the injured worker. A doctor’s referral is not required.
  • If you are injured at work notify your employer and WorkSafe BC to get a claim number. You will need to call our office to book your appointment at Physioplus as we will need your claim number, date of injury and case manager contact details.
  • Many workplace injuries are soft tissue injuries. Physiotherapists are expert in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries which benefit from early treatment and usually recover within 6 – 8 weeks.
  • We will take the time to understand the demands of your work and assess your physical capability to return to work. We will contact you employer to discuss when it is safe for you to resume work and if your work should be modified during your recovery period
